EVENTS:
Organ Concert Series
For fifty-five years the SNCAGO has produced free concerts featuring classic and liturgical music. Today, the chapter hosts the Paul S. Hesselink Recital Series, an annual season of concert events that celebrates artists from across the United States and from around the world, as well as member performances.
Most typically, performances are held on the Maureen Jackson Smith, 2004 Rudolf von Beckerath organ in the Dr. Rando-Grillot Recital Hall in the Beam Music Center on the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus. Additional performances have been presented on the 2010 Schantz at Christ Church Episcopal.
The SNC:AGO is proud of the diversity of artists featured throughout the series. We strive to invite recitalists that represent a broad spectrum of ethnic and educational backgrounds, up-and-coming artists as well as those at their peak of popularity, men and women. Performing artists who wish to be considered for future recitals should contact the programming committee chairs, Click here.
The series continues to celebrate not only the pipe organ, and the esteemed collection of artists chosen to perform, but also more than 600 years of organ repertoire.

Presenting an organ recital series is one of the most important functions of the SNC:AGO. These concerts are always free to the public thanks to the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Nevada Arts Council, and by patrons like you.
